So you’ve put months of time and money into planning a party for your kids, that will be over in 2 hours. The beautiful invitation, the smile on their face and all the friends and family that attended is easily forgotten, and this could NOT happen in my house. Here are a few ways to Preserve your Parties and make sure no one forgets those special memories.

Party Scrapbooks

**This is a new revelation as I found most of my party frames in closets and cast aside, not how I envisioned. With the amount of parties I am throwing, I could not realistically keep up and wanted to do something different. My mom made me scrapbooks growing up and I thought the frames would transfer beautifully to a scrapbook. I grabbed one for each girl and unframed everything.

I kept it simple by using what was in their frame and only adding items from their parties. I added in their envelopes and stickers to add to the pages and Crete the keepsakes. They made for amazing books that I will continue to add to, and very easy for them to take with them when they are old enough. Party Frames

I have talked about these A LOT, they are one of my most treasured creations, they even landed me on Studio 5 KSL. The invitations made for the girls were like little pieces of art and I couldn’t stand to put them in a box, the deserved to be framed. I use floating frame to frame the invitation, a photo strip of my four favorite pictures, and confetti used at their parties. They hang in a gallery wall in our home so we can look at them everyday.

Party Chatbooks

Obviously the four photos in the party frame is NOT enough, so I shove every single photo into a chatbook. I put the flatlay on the cover, the theme and year on the spine and fill the book to the brim with all the beautiful photos. It makes for a special book the girls can flip through and a great gift for the grandparents.

Party Ornaments

in 2018 I bought a glass ornament from Anthropologie and filled it with confetti from Denver’s Land Of Sweets party. It became on of my favorite keepsakes, and now lives on the ornament tree. I wanted to take the concept a step further and created the Party Ornament. I used plastic ornaments, filled them with the confetti from the party, and something to write on with the age they turned and the year. I tie it up with a coordinating bow and we get them out every Christmas and remember the party! There is something about including memories in holiday decor, it’s safe all year and extra special when it comes out. Read more about Party Ornaments here.

The Guest Book

I got this idea from Studio Diy WAY back in the day and started doing it when Ray turned one, and still do it to this day! I buy a children’s book that coordinates with the party theme and make sure everyone who attends the party signs the book! It is so much fun looking back and seeing what family and friends were there to celebrate our girls!

Here’s a little list of the books I have used over the years, I really just hone in on the theme and pick a book from there. I also love looking for coffee table books, this is something we can keep out all the time and enjoy!
