Party Memories

If you don’t know already the parties I through for my kids and the shoot for House of Fete have become nothing less than an obsession. For the past five years I have saved little keepsakes from the girls birthday parties, the candles they blew out, a little bit of confetti and of course their invitation. About a year ago when Itsy Bitsy Parties made an invitation for the House of Fete RainBOO Halloween, I knew the invitation had to be framed. I have been using these floating frames forever- making any size photo easy to frame. In the past I have pressed images with confetti- you can see examples here, here + here. Then the party frame was born.

I went to the Social Print Studio app where you can print 9 photo strips for $12. It was hard enough to pick only four photos but I thought it was a cute way to represent the party. With the photo strip I framed anything that was flat from their specific party. Each one has an invitation and confetti if I used it. Others have Napkins, cupcake toppers and favor tags.

On my first round between all three girls and the photoshoots, I filled 9 frames and believe it or not, a year later I have 9 more to do- okay, we party A LOT. They look so nice framed and I love being able to enjoy their gorgeous invitations and memories everyday! They girls look back and remember each party a little bit better.

Here is a reminder to take the photo, keep the confetti and don’t lock it away. Display it proudly and enjoy it everyday! I am working on hanging them all and will upload the photo of them when they are hung!

XO Kelsey
