Little miss Ray is SEVEN! We had so much fun celebrating her this year and I cannot believe how grown up she’s getting. Ray’s party themes over the years have been some of my favorites, I often play on her name or age is turning and they come together so beautifully! You can see all her parties below:
One | Two | Three | Four | Five | Six
For Seven I was inspired by a set of striped napkins. It was one of those things, I wanted to buy so I build a theme around it. I started panning in February and ran with the Stripes and Sevens. The thought of 777, slots, gambling, etc. I quickly added in lucky symbols like a lady bug to make it a little sweeter and girly. Of course, we started with a mood board.

The Invitation
I worked with Rebecca of Paperie Off Park to create the artwork and invitation for this party. I really wanted the invite to feel like a suite. After a few hours on the phone we came up with some incredible pieces. A large red envelope, lined with lucky icons, was the base to hold the invite, itinerary, menu and score card. I finished it with a tiny custom pencil from Tennessee Girl Gang that read “lucky girl”. The invitation itself was a piece of art. Rebecca painted a lady bug with all the info and her wings opened up to reveal. I styled the flatlay with mostly paper products to really let them shine. They were also incredible to display throughout the party.

The Space
Typically I through the girls parties in my home, but I wanted some extra pizzaz for this one, so we went to Kids Garden Summerville. They have an incredible space for events. They even have tons of games and activities that added to the party.
With a large empty space to fill I wanted to set up the tables of course, and a lounge. The rhythm of the party would be that the girls could eat lunch and play games.

The Lounge
I have been dying to work with The French Eclectic for the girls parties and this was the perfect time. They have the most incredible lounge pieces, to make a cozy place for the girls to play board games and eat cake. We chose a couch, two chairs, coffee table, side tables and they even brought rugs and pillows. The colors were EVERYTHING and I love the velvet and pops of stripes. Hanging about the lounge I made the coolest lamps. I saw some inspiration for them on Anthro EU and knew they would be perfect for this. The original creator is Loving Sting. I grabbed 5 lamp shades from good will and wrapped them in cotton yarn to look like stripes. It took me about 15 hours to make them all, but it was worth it. I finished each one with a bejeweled lady bug made by Lauren Glass and hung them from the celling.

In the center of the lounge I displayed the cake. I ordered a simple white cake from Publix and decorated it with striped and cherries made out of pomegranate seeds and candy. I topped it with a custom Lucky Girl cake topper and Cherry Candles. Around the cake I had plates, napkins and a few fun trinkets. It was so fun to light the cherries and sing to the birthday girl!

The Table
You know this is my favorite part. I used tables and chairs that were already at the space, so I used two tables instead of one and it came out SO cute. I grabbed these linens on amazon and started layering on all the things. I used Bonjour Fete plates as the chargers (each one was different and two were striped), then added melamine plates on top. Each plate was finished with Playing Card menu and the stripe napkin that started it all. Acrylic Sticks created these incredible, over sized napkin rings, each with a different symbol. There was a lady bug, clover, evil eye and a horse shoe- they brought the theme together on the table and made such a statement.

Each seat had a cup for their drinks and a cup filled with candy from Bobby Pop which was a HUGE hit. Each cup had a cherry stir stick and a fortune cookie drink tag. The candy cup sat on a lucky penny coaster Rebecca and I designed together, adding the perfect hidden gem.

The center of the tables were filled with flowers, garlands and confetti of course. I even filled olive dishes with dice and dominos if the kids wanted to play.
The Activities
Playing with the Lucky, and 777, I wanted there to be an abundance of games to play. Behind the tables I had a dresser filled with every game under the sun. I used the gorgeous Vintage Book Games from WS Game Company. They sat in rainbow order and had everything we needed from Candy land to Connect for. With a small frame that read “Baby Let the Games Begin, they kids could walk up, grab a game and a score card and start playing. Above the table Holy City Party create 5 big teal balloons each with a double cherry hanging from the base. I tied each one with vintage cherry fabric gifted to me from Lifted Balloons. They gave a whimsical element to the tables and I love how they tuned out.

On the other half the table the girls could make Lucky Charm necklaces. Nickel and Suede sent the coolest paper clip necklaces that each girl could customize with a few charms. I loved this because it wasn’t messy or complicated and it became a beautiful party favor to take home.

The Favors
Speaking of favors, in addition to the necklace, each girl took home a little goodie bag. It is not common I do a goodie bag, because I love showing off the favors, but these stripe bags were TOO perfect not to use. I filled each one with a stuffed cherry, a stripe scrunchie, a key chain and a tiny slot machine. My friend Lynda found these gum ball slots for me, but they were wedding themed. I called my girl Itsy Bitsy Parties to create custom stickers for each machine, swapped the sticker and they gum balls and had the cutest addition to the favors.

I displayed them on another dresser with garlands, confetti and the coolest 7 tag from Chalk Designs by Me.
The Florals
I did my morning run to Trader Joes for all the florals. I was excited to use my rainbow of Glitterville bud vases and finished every single on with an Acrylic Sticks tag. It added that little touch that made the florals on theme too. I placed them through the lounge, on the favor table and coffee table as well.

The Food
We served the birthday girls request of Chick Fil A. Each girl was able to fill in the menu and choose what they wanted to order and choice of sauce. We served water and lemonade with lunch, and followed up with sweets.

Royally Iced did it again and sent the most gorgeous Lucky cookies. Not only did she do her themed cookies, she made me cookie sticks. All together they looked like stripes with little lucky symbols and I cannot get enough. I also served bowls of Fortune cookies. They were so fun for the girls to snack on through out the party.

The Fits
Stripes of course. I found this incredible dress from Mini Boden for the birthday girl, the mix of stripes and ric rack details were everything, Her sisters wore MORE stripes with the cutest dresses from All Small Co. Because I wore stripes for Brennan’s birthday I went with a bright skirt and a cute little dice t-shirt from Abercrombie and Fitch. Ray had TWO hand made party hats from Winnie and Haze that were pure magic!

We ran into a few hiccups with this party having to push it back a week because of hurricanes, but it ALL came together beautifully and Ray had the best time! HUGE shoutout to the incredible Dani Lacey who once again took the most incredible photos of the party and more importantly me and my girl!
