Baking With A Buzz {Cinco de Mayo}

Another holiday another Baking with A Buzz! This one was extra fun because I used it as a belated birthday celebration, so the class was filled with my favorite people! The fun begins in the group text, sending inspiration back and forth between eight girls is always entertaining.

We got dressed in our festive wear, most of us, and took on the challenge of Cinco de Mayo inspired cakes. Alexis, of Suga Mama’s Bakery had the place quite festive with nachos, guacamole and of course, margaritas!

Most of us have done the class before, which means we all have our own ideas and our expectations are through the roof. That led to, extensive piping, taco cakes, cactus cookies, airbrushing and fondant…

The wine was flowing and we had the best time! I couldn’t imagine a better birthday celebration! Thank you Suga Mama’s Bakery and all the girls who made it a great night! As per tradition I’m eating cake for breakfast. Coconut cake with lime curd to be exact!

And here’s my final product…

Happy Cinco de Mayo!

Xo,

Kelsey
