This Halloween we are making new traditions and having fun things. The easiest way of doing that is with our favorites CANDY! I teamed up with HERSHEY® and Walmart to create some extra delicious things that can be done at home. We got all of the HERSHEY® essentials from Walmart including the traditional REESE’S Peanut Butter Cups, KIT KAT® Bars, and HERSHEY®  170-piece assortment, and the really fun new Halloween limited editions. I knew I would have some fun with the REESE’S Frankencup , KIT KAT® Witch’s Brew and HERSHEY’S Vampire Kisses.

I stopped by Walmart to get a few other things to go along with ALL the candy. I found Halloween colored cake mix and super fun Haunted Ginger bread house. I knew the girls and I could have some fun with these items.

I started with the cake, I baked off three layers and got to decorating. The REESE’S Frankencup made a perfect eyeball on the side of the cake, I LOVE the green color on the bottom, and still have the classic REESE’S Peanut Butter Cup flavor. On the top of the cake we garnished it with HERSHEY’S Vampire Kisses. Cutting the cake made fun as the Kisses oozed out with “blood”, creepy but delicious.

As you know, setting a table is one of my favorite things to do, so I knew this candy covered haunted house was just the thing. The girls and I put the house together and they helped me cover our dining room table in spider webs, because who needs a table cloth on Halloween? We set the table with some girlie but scary plates and turned the house into the focal point. I used HERSHEY®  170-piece assortment to surround the house with rows of different candy and lined the center of the table with MORE! The house was over flowing with a graveyard of REESE’S Peanut Butter Cups and every type of candy from the HERSHEY® assortment. Can you even with that KIT KAT® Witch’s Brew door!?

Then, lastly I wanted to make another “boo baket” for the girls, but Trick or Treat themed. I filled a basket with all the parts of the girls costumes, capes, sparkles and accessories, plus HERSHEY® candy. Because trick or treating is not possible without all the candy. This will make them dressing up and staying home a little more fun, they can go door to door (in our home to collect their favorite kind of candy.
