A Guide to Easter

Easter is SUPER early this year so I’ve been planning the girl’s baskets since…. Christmas 🙈 Don’t judge me. It actually paid off, I got lots of good stuff on great after Christmas sales, and have been collecting things ever since.

Heres a step by step of what you need for your little chicks this Easter!

Step One: The Basket

I’ve wanted wire baskets for the girls so they can see all their goodies! I finally found the perfect ones from Hearth & Hand at Target. I love the wooden handle, perfect to transition to collecting eggs!

Step Two: Goodies

Usually I would get the girls a stuffed bunny or something very “Easter”, but I found these Candy Kirby Designs dolls on sale after Christmas and Denver LOVES the one she has, so I thought it was perfect! I also based the color scene of the baskets off the dolls, the bright and pastel is perfect!

I went to Amazon for Easter books for each girl. Denver loves Llama Llama books and everything Curious George, so these were a score.

Accessories! Ray is getting a couple of spring flowers for her hair by Fancy Free Finery (spring collection release 3/9). Denver will get a new clip from Ryan and Wren, a cute bunny necklace and sunnies!

I’m also throwing in some things they need like new plates for Denver and bowls for Ray, (she’ll be starting solids ASAP). All the tableware and the pineapple teether are from Target!

Step Three: Sister Activities

An egg hunt is a must! I’ll fill the eggs with fruit snacks, tiny toys and maybe a dollar here and there! Also, how cute is this spring tea set!? I can just picture the girls sharing tea Easter morning!

Step Four: Matching Pjs

I chose these from Old Navy, I love that they are more coordinating than matching and springy so they can wear them until they grow out!

Step Five: Easter Best!

Easter dresses… every girl moms dream! These are some of my favorite picks from Gap & Old Navy (from left to right 1, 2, 3, 4) and matching sandals all from Old Navy. I’m dying over those little chick sandals!

Hope this gives you some inspiration!!

update! Chalk Designs by Me sent adorable chalkboard tags, they are perfect for Easter and all the time!
