Fall Goodies for the Girls

Living on St. Thomas, when October rolls around I seriously miss the states. I grew up in Columbus, Ohio, so I’m used to the golden leaves, crisp air and all things fall.  The past five years our fall still consists of brutally hot days and picking out bikinis instead of boots. This year, because of the circumstances, I am so excited to have the seasons change and experience fall! So you better believe we are living in jeans, hitting every pumpkin patch and apple picking opportunity and of course drinking ALL the pumpkin spice lattes (#basic).

Fall in the VI is a challenge because even though the weather may not be fall, I try really hard to still be festive in the house! If it’s raining or a little bit cool I’ll have chili on the stove. And no matter how over priced the Pumpkins are, we’ll have plenty to carve.

So to stay festive and look the part, I put together a little fall capsule wordrobe for the girls, so we can celebrate no matter where we are. Here are some of my favorites things. In the mean time… is it too early to watch Hocus Pocus!?

The Little Pumpkin sweater and kitty shoes are Old Navy. The googly eye sweater is from the boy section at Gap. I love finding boyish pieces and making it girly with a big bow! Speaking of bows, this skull print mustard bow from Pippa & Indy is EVERYTHING, I’ve literally been waiting for it since July. And of course the monthly set from Little Poppy Co– can’t wait to get my hands on those suede bows.

I’m lusting over this (sold out) fall blush bonnet from Briar Handmade. There’s something about blush in the fall, its so good. Also check out Hooray Everyday for her cutest holiday necklaces, the tiny pumpkins are so sweet (restocking soon). And who doesn’t need a fall Solly, the amount I wear mine, I need every color.

See Denver in her googly eye sweater & blush and white bow in our pumpkin patch post!

Xo,

Kelsey
