the MAN basket

Okay, I know Easter Planning is officially over, but I wanted to share my husbands Easter/ Birthday basket with you! I did a little walk through on my Instagram, but this will make a good reference.

This year, Danny’s birthday fell on Easter, so I was excited to really deck out his Easter basket and fill it with birthday items too!

I wanted to make sure I filled it with things that he liked and that he would use- not just a bunch of junk to fill space.

I started with a few products he uses a lot, like his Young Living beard oil and some shaving cream. I added some obvious hardware store finds like mini gorilla glue, WD40 and a flashlight. He loves having a tool kit everywhere, so these will be perfect additions.

I found a really cool pen from Anthropologie that doubles as a level and a ruler. I also got him a couple copper coasters that match the dining room table he’s building us! Then I stuffed in a few random things like a long lighter, gourmet chorizo and ankle socks. Instead of the typical Easter candy, I upgraded him a little with a couple boxes of Sugarfina candy. I got him Cuban Rum cordials and Cuba Libra gummies (his drink is Rum + Coke so I think he’ll enjoy them!)

I adorned the basket with a wooden St. Croix ornament, handmade tassel and a Chalk Designs By Me birthday tag. Everything is sitting on a cool tea towel (from his sister, hehe) and thats it! Of course, a birthday card where I added a gift card to go golfing- which will be his favorite part. I think he’ll really love it. Gift giving is my love language so I had so much fun putting this one together!

Happy Easter- and Happy Birthday to my amazing Husband!

p.s. This is my 100th blog post! feel like that should be celebrated a bit! I love this space so much, it pushes me to create, write and share our life and it’s just so much fun! Thank you for following along!

XO,

Kelsey
