As a mom of almost two, taking photos of my little ones have become a passion of mine, and as much as I love Instagram (really love it) I always want my photos to be somewhere more permanent and tangible. For years I made books through my MacBook, then I discovered Chatbooks. If you haven’t downloaded their app, do it now! You can make custom books, or subscribe to a series so they’ll print directly from your social media or camera roll, consistently throughout the year.
My second daughter is due in ONE MONTH (omg) and before her arrival I wanted to organize all the photos of my first born. I created her a small birth book of the day she was born. I included all the special photos from the hospital and the birth story I had jotted down in her baby book. I also created an 8 x 8 larger book of her first year. Filled with letters to her each month, and TONS of pictures.
The best part in my opinion is the custom covers. Oh Joy!, one of my favorite blogs by Joy Cho has a collaboration with Chatbooks and did a collection of covers that are so fun and girly. The cover gives a little hint of the amazing memories inside.
Rifle Paper Co and Chatbooks just announced their collaboration of series covers and I’m lusting over them, and taking a few extra photos to find an excuse for these beautiful books! To personalize mine a little more I used a label maker so I can organize the events and year!
