An Egg-cellent Easter

Sorry about the title, it’s the only egg pun I could come up with.

ANYWAY… I wanted to share our little Easter set up! This year I wanted to do something different, when I saw these fried egg plates and napkins, I knew I had to use them. Then when I met Kristin of Jollity & Co (the makes of both) and she showed me her new Robin’s Egg design, it all came together. I set the table just for the girls and it worked out perfectly. I included my Chalk Designs By Me Chalk Designs By Me “Chicks Rule” sign, because you know, chicks, eggs… you get it!

I wanted the place settings to be progressive and different. Starting with a whole egg, cracked, then the yolk. Each small plate got a solid round underneath that complimented the color. I added different napkins (I’m obsessed with the gold splatter, looks just like a robins egg to me). I used gold cups and chocolate bunnies as cups!

And of course the backdrop was so much fun! I cut out white egg whites out of poster board and added tiny honeycomb balls to the centers to look like the egg plates. I think its super fun and adds great dimension.

No place setting is complete without confetti, I used gold flakes from Studio Pep and sprinkled the table with cadbury eggs. What’s better than confetti? Edible confetti.

This was a fun vision I had in my head and I’m thrilled with how it turned out! I had so many other ideas this Easter, I thought it would also be fun to share those with you!
